BEFORE APPOINTMENT

Collect all of your materials - DVDs, VHS tapes, headshots on a CD, old reels, etc.

Be sure to cue up tapes to 1^st scene and write down counters if additional scenes are on the same tape.

Write down time codes/chapter for DVDs.

Fill out what information you can on Order Form.

 

DAY OF APPOINTMENT

    Bring all materials with you to your appointment. DVDs, VHS tapes, headshots on a CD or the website they are on, old reels, etc. Any clips or footage that you might want to use.

    If you wish to only have a consultation - that is all you need to bring.

 If you know what you want, then you need to also bring your offline edit form, order form, and deposit (at least ½ of your total). The more you can fill out ahead of time, the faster it goes.

During the consultation we review the materials and clips together and decide several things:

    -What kind of reel(s) you want - 1 minute, 3 minute, comedy, drama, etc.

    -Which clips will work and which won’t.

    -If, and what information, you want “in” the reel
          (Name, agency, website, phone number, etc.)
     Usually this information goes at the end of the reel.

   -If you want Custom DVDs, VHS copies, etc.

   -If you want Custom DVDs you need to start thinking what
    information/headshot(s) you want on it.

DVDs come with a Menu - I will show you several examples to choose from so you can begin thinking about which one you want and which headshot/stills to you want to use.

AFTER APPOINTMENT

Once I have the 1^st cut of your Demo Reel, I will contact you and we will look at it and make any changes necessary.

Once you approve the reel and any custom designs, it generally takes about 1-2 days for everything to be ready for pick up.

 

From Beginning to End, a typical Reel takes about 4-5 days to prepare.
